Our Nursery School
Our Ethos:At Little Learners we believe that play is a child's work (Dewey) and that all children have an individual capacity for learning, therefore we encourage them to become creative, critical thinkers through challenging activities which develop and extend their particular interests. We nurture children's independence through allowing them to make decisions and take risks. Equal opportunities are paramount and we endeavour to create an inclusive environment which will cater for all children's needs in order to promote a high level of well-being and involvement.
Little Learners is a real community of learning that makes a powerful contribution to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing and development of the children.'

Healthy Schools is a joint Department for Education and Department of Health programme delivered by the local Healthy School Team. It recognises the link between health (physical, emotional and social) and achievement. It contributes to all of the Every Child Matters outcomes through its four main aims: to raise achievement to reduce health inequalities
Little Learners Nursery School is outstanding. The nursery is meeting the needs of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to a high standard.
